What is your gift used for?
Star of Hope works primarily to give poor children an education because we believe that this together with health, social integration and the living word is a precondition for all development.
In plain text, your gift is used for school supplies such as school books, pencils, crayons, notebooks, school desks and chairs. But also for salaries for teachers, educators and other staff, school lunches, and more much more.

When Disasters Strike!
Every year the world brings disasters, both manmade and natural. Unfortunately we cannot prevent disasters from happening, but we can assist those affected and help in disaster risk reduction. The right help at the right time can save hundreds of thousands of people.
As a sponsor you will receive:

*An understanding and insight into a completely different culture.
Does Sponsorship really work?
Yes, it does! The vast majority of our sponsored children finish primary school and many go on to higher education. In the process, you as a sponsor are extremely important! With your gift you are not only giving material support, you show that you care, this caring increases the children's self-esteem tremendously. The children and their parents get hope that we can change a seemingly hopeless situation.
